Coated And Specified Glass

Wet residue is a chemical. Etching gel is corrosive to skin and eyes. Keep staff and shoppers clear of it and do not let a cleaning team go at it unprotected.
Nothing sharp, nothing abrasive. A blade adds permanent scratches to a pane that was recoverable. A cloth drags live residue across clean glass and grows the damaged area. This is how one bay becomes three.

Specification check. Float, low iron, toughened, laminated, coated, sealed unit or security rated, and which face the damage occupies. Nothing starts until this is established.
Concealed test area. A small section worked first, sited where it cannot be seen from the shop floor, and judged before the full bay is committed to.
Containment and pedestrian management. Frames, gaskets, seals, vinyl, manifestation and signage masked. Slurry contained and kept off a footway that will carry thousands of people within the hour. The working zone is set up so pedestrians route around it safely rather than through it.
